The Phoenix Regional Sports Commission is partnering with the nation’s top youth sports training company, Positive Coaching Alliance. A program that raises the stature of coaches as key mentors whose efforts are ensuring the positive development of young athletes. This program is based off of a methodology to help your organization develop a culture where the behaviors of coaches, parents, fans and players reflect a commitment to Honoring the Game. A solution that features proven, practical tools enabling leaders, athletes, coaches and parents to implement PCA’s research-based program.
The Partnership Program includes a live workshop on Leadership, inclusive of areas such as coaching, athlete participation and parenting.
In addition to the live workshop, everything below is offered during your partnership year:
- Monthly Leadership Webinar: Open to your organization’s board members; includes tools and resources in helping your board create a positive sports culture
- “From the Ground Up”: A guide for Leaders of Youth Sports Organizations
- Account Management support from PCA throughout partnership year
- PCA’s Merchandise Sample Kit
- Access to monthly “Leadership Roundtable” conference calls
- Subscription to PCA Connector – electronic newsletter – for all coaches, leaders and parents in the organization (email addresses required)
- Monthly “2 minute drill” tips to share with coaches, parents and student-athletes
- Authorized use of PCA Logo
- Exclusive access to PCA Partner website, filled with tools, resources and best practices
